Career Competency Chats

Wednesday, February 25th from 10:15am to Wednesday, April 1st, 2026 11:00am

About

Mercer faculty and staff are invited to a series of Career Competency Chats exploring communication, critical thinking, leadership, teamwork, professionalism, and technology. This series builds on the November 5 webinar, "From Your Syllabus to Their Resume: Helping Students Identify Skills Developed in Your Courses."

Each chat will be held on Zoom and will feature a moderated discussion and Q&A with Dr. Jennifer Crawford (Center for Career and Professional Development), facilitated by Dr. Kathy Kloepper (Center for Engaged Learning). These sessions will equip faculty and staff with insights to help students better articulate the skills and competencies they develop through courses and co-curricular experiences.

Participants are welcome to attend any session(s) of interest; attendance at every chat is not required. Zoom links for each session will be emailed to registered participants as the event date approaches.
