Magnolia Soap Box Derby 2020

Saturday, April 11th, 2020 from 7:30am to 6:30pm

About

Always family-friendly, the Magnolia Soap Box Derby is full of activities for children, including the Big Wheel Race, and the Gravity Racing Challenge, a S.T.E.A.M.-based initiative inviting high school students from across the Middle Georgia region. It’s a springtime afternoon of wholesome, old-fashioned fun while we celebrate feats of speed, science, creativity and community in historic downtown Macon, Georgia. Racers and race fans of all ages are invited to participate in one of Macon-Bibb’s best action events – the Magnolia Soap Box Derby on the second Saturday in April, this year on April 11th, 2020. With our own  Pit-Row on College Street,  you'll have the opportunity to see the derby cars up close and personal and even ask the teams their favorite part about the MSBD. Also we have vendors in Washington Park as well as local food trucks! Come ready to have fun and cheer for your favorite teams.
